The San Francisco Veterans’ Success Center, a project of The American Legion 8th District Council, is ready to help veterans seeking employment and career advancement services.
Our modern Windows laptops are fully equipped with wireless internet connectivity, Microsoft Office suite of applications, plus printing, scanning and copying capabilities to help you reach your goals. Our managers have a wide array of specialized experience in resume writing and assisting transitional veterans. Collectively, we have a broad network of connections within the community and partnerships with veteran representatives of the Employment Development Department, Department of Veterans Affairs, San Francisco Veterans Affairs Commission, as well as other veterans groups and services organizations.
Through our partnership with the AMVETS Career Center, we can also offer personal support services on a case-by-case basis. These can include interview/work clothes, transit cards to help you get to your interviews, and other specialized assistance to help you take your employment search to the next level.
Whether you need resume development, a skills assessment, mock interviews, job listings, help submitting applications for jobs online, or other various personal services, the SF Veterans’ Success Center is here to help.
